With five more cases of Swine Flu reported from the state capital, the number of such persons has gone up to 36, according to Lucknow’s Chief Medical OfficerDr S N S Yadav.
Three men, all aged 45, and two women, aged 31 and 25, have tested positive for the H1N1 virus. They are being treated at their homes, Yadav said. Out of 36 patients, only three are admitted in hospitals, which includes two at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and one at King George’s Medical University, Yadav added.
So far, two deaths have been recorded in Lucknow, including that of a retired officer of the Indian Army on January 9 and the wife of a retired Army jawan on January 13. Overall, six poeple have died from Swine flu in UP.
