The names of a voter in the list of any constituency can be added till the last date of filing the nomination papers, he added.
As for citizens who have changed their addresses within a constituency have to fill form 8A,and those who have shifted from one constituency to another have to use form 6.
The Commission will be holding meetings with chief secretaries and the Director General of Police of all states on February 5 and 6. It will also be conducting a meeting with the political parties. The Commission has already started keeping a close watch on the transfer and postings of the officers in the state.
