Alleging anomalies of Rs 200 crore in land allotment done under the group housing scheme of 2007 in Noida,Congress MLA from Deoria Akhilesh Pratap Singh has demanded CBI probe and action against the guilty officers. In a letter to Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday,Singh said that an inquiry conducted by the UP government in June 2012 had found irregularities and a loss of Rs 152 crore to the state exchequer. Therefore,he demanded the tender awarded should be cancelled and there should be fresh allotment of land at current rates. Undue benefits were given to a company in the allotment of about 33 acre of land in Noida under the Group Housing Scheme of 2007. The present government is sitting on the inquiry report,which was submitted to them in June 2012,Singh alleged.
