Car of minister’s wife rams into tea stall,4 hurt
At least four persons sustained injuries when the vehicle,in which wife of Horticulture Minister Paras Nath Yadav was travelling,rammed into a tea stall under Rampur area of Jaunpur district on Sunday.
Following the incident,a mob gathered and damaged the vehicle. Yadav’s wife also sustained minor injuries. Two cases — one in connection with the accident and the other of rioting and causing injury — were registered in this connection. The police said that the injured persons were out of danger.
The police said that Hirawati Devi,the minister’s wife,who is also block pramukh of Barsathi,was going in her Tata Safari for some work on Sunday. As the vehicle crossed Jalalapur Bazar in Rampur area,a child reportedly came on to the road.
In a bid to save the child,the driver steered the vehicle off the road,but lost control,said the police.
The vehicle rammed into a tea stall,owned by one Deena Patel. Four persons Shabbir,Rajendra Patel,Nand Lal Yadav,and Hori Lal sustained injuries.
