The BSP hit out at the Congress on Tuesday for opposing the detention of BJPs Varun Gandhi under the National Security Act (NSA).
Party general secretary Satish Mishra said the Congress too has now joined the Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav in toeing the BJP line in criticising Gandhis detention under the NSA.
Earlier,the Congress had supported the UP governments move,but on Monday,Kapil Sibal opposed the NSA, he said.
The BSP leader said the Mayawati government would never allow anyone,be it from the Gandhi family or any raja or maharaja to violate the law of the land.
