To reach out to youths ahead of the Lok Sabha elections,the BJP will launch a Yuva Mitra-Yuva Sadasya campaign across the country on July 23.
According to a party leader,first-time voters,rural youths,backward and scheduled caste and successful young boys and girls between age group of 18 to 25 years will be enrolled on priority basis.
The campaign,first introduced by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in 2012,will involve door-to-door visits by party members to make youths join the party. The materials and pamphlets to be used during the campaign will use photographs and messages of Modi,who is also the partys national campaign committee head.
Besides visiting houses to enroll youth members,we will go online,too,in this yuva morcha. We will call these members yuva mitra of BJP, yuva morcha national general secretary and Patna MLA Nitin Navin said.
The party plans to use social media besides telephone and mobile applications to connect with youths and tell them about the ideology and vision of the BJP and Modi. The campaign will include conferences,seminars,rallies and torch processions.
