A day after meeting Lucknow SSP for a murder investigation in the alleged road accident in which Sara, daughter-in-law of former UP minister Amarmani Tripathi, was killed, the mother of the deceased, Seema Singh Thursday met Governor Ram Naik seeking help in getting a CBI inquiry ordered into her daughter’s death on July 9.
Seema has alleged foul play in the car crash near Firozabad in which her husband, Amanmani, who was driving the vehicle, escaped unhurt.
After the meeting, Seema said that the Governor has her assured of providing all help in the inquiry and said he will talk to the Chief Minister so that the inquiry process can be initiated.
She said she also visited the DGP headquarters again and met ADG (Law and Order) D S Chowdhary. Earlier, she had submitted an application to DGP seeking a CBI probe.
Chowdhary said the DGP headquarters are going to seek a report from IG of Agra Zone about the points raised by Seema pertaining to her daughter’s death.
Seema has sought clarification on several aspects linked to her death such as Sara’s “missing” cell phone and the arrival of cars from Gorakhpur in Firozabad even before she could reach there from Lucknow and whether the post-mortem was videographed.
Seema Singh has demanded the CBI inquiry and narco test of Amanmani and Amarmani who is admitted at Gorakhpur medical college under judicial custody. Amanmani has been in jail since July 17 in connection with a case of kidnapping lodged against him last year.
