The 20th All India Balrampur Chini KD Singh 'Babu' Memorial Sub-Junior Hockey Tournament will be organised at Dhyanchand astro-turf stadium of Guru Govind Singh Sports College,Kursi Road,Lucknow from January 24 to February 2.

The 20th All India Balrampur Chini KD Singh ‘Babu’ Memorial Sub-Junior Hockey Tournament will be organised at Dhyanchand astro-turf stadium of Guru Govind Singh Sports College,Kursi Road,Lucknow from January 24 to February 2. The tournament is being held under the auspices of the KD Singh ‘Babu’ Memorial Society. 16 teams from different states will be taking part in the tournament. The selections of the UP team will be held on January 6 and 7 at Dhyanchand astro-turf stadium. Interested players should report at the stadium to ‘Babu’ Society officials Gurutosh Pandey or Mukul Lal Shah at 11.30 am on January 6.

Kyn Tyre triumphs
HORSE Kyn Tyre stood first in 900m race held as a part of the Ist Gymkhana Races (BP Halwasiya Memorial Cup Race) for the racing season 2008-09 held at Lucknow Race Course,Lucknow Cantt. The 800m and the 600m races were won by horses Alexander and Hema,respectively.
