Batting first,Achievers PK Sports Club scored 125 runs losing all their wickets in 25.1 overs. In reply,Supreme Cricket Club romped home after attaining the set mark in 13.3 overs with nine wickets to spare. Vikrant Singh batted impressively on behalf of the victors scoring 72 unbeaten runs off 43 balls which featured eleven boundaries and a six.

In another league match of the same tourney played at Northern Railway Stadium,a five wicket haul by Firoz Ahmed (5 for 21) went a long way as Naqvi Sporting defeated Abhijeet Sinha Cricket Academy (ASCA) team by 53 runs.

Bisht to lead
TS Bisht will lead the Lucknow team which will be participating in the UP State North Zone Senior Zonal Badminton Championships to be held at Shahjahanpur,UP,from July 31 to August 2. According to honorary secretary Lucknow Badminton Association RN Seth,the Lucknow team will reach Shahjahanpur on July 30.
