Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress Thursday said that it fully supported the Lokpal Bill,but demanded full freedom for state governments to set up Lokayuktas. TMC fully supports the Lokpal Bill … for Lokayuktas,the state governments must have the full freedom to set up and run them, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Derek OBrien said.

Arms recovered from Junglemahal

Kolkata: A cache of arms and explosives were recovered from Chapasol area of West Midnapore district,a part of junglemahal,a former Maoist stronghold. The CRPF recovered a 303 rifle,8 rounds of ammunition,12 kg of explosives,wires and a plastic container during a search,police sources said.
