In Chennai,30 SFI activists were arrested on Wednesday while protesting against the death of Sudipta Gupta.
They burnt an effigy of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and raised slogans against her,alleging that Sudiptas death was not an accident as claimed by police,but a murder and demanded that those responsible be arrested.
In Puducherry,50 SFI
activists staged a demonstration and burnt an effigy of Mamata and shouted slogans.
In Delhi,scores of SFI supporters staged a demonstration outside Banga Bhavan in Central Delhi.
