WITH the doctors at Belle Vue Clinic finding improvement in the health of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee,she is most likely to be discharged on Saturday.
The six-member medical board reviewed her condition and found the Chief Minister’s health stable.
A medical bulletin released by the hospital said that she has got slight relief from the pain in her body.
“The (her) blood pressure is also slightly better. Pulse rate continues to hover at a lower level though,” it added. Cardiologist Dr S K Biswas examined her today.
Doctors said after conducting some tests she could be discharged on Saturday. “But she should be kept under observation at her residence too,” they added.
She has been advised to continue with the same medication and other ongoing treatments.
On Wednesday after cutting short her Delhi trip following heckling by SFI workers,Mamata returned to Kolkata and got admitted to Belle Vue Clinic. She had complained pain in her shoulder and palpitation.
