Owing to dense fog,the Howrah and Sealdah-bound Rajdhani Express were delayed by more than 12 hours on Monday.
The Eastern Railway has warned of more disruptions in long-distance train services.
On Monday,Sealdah Rajdhani Express was cancelled and another one from Howrah was expected to depart at 11.30 pm instead of 4.55 pm,its scheduled departure time.
Amidst this chaos, commuters blamed the Railways for the inconvenience they were facing at various stations.
Padmaker Dixit, who was waiting for his train at the Howrah station, said that he had called the railway inquiry but the operator did not give him the right time of his trains departure.
If they would have given me the right time,I would have come at night, instead of coming so early, the resident of Kanpur said.
