Trouble seems to be following Pinki Pramanik. Just a couple of days after the athlete was released on bail after serving 26 days in custody on rape charges, another case was filed against her at the Barasat court on Friday.
The woman, who had accused Pramanik of raping her, filed the case today this time alleging a criminal breach of trust.
The woman alleged that her personal belongings are still in Pramaniks possession and that the latter was refusing to hand them over to her. The court will hear the case soon, the athletes lawyer,Tuhin Roy,said.
He,however, said that Pramanik shouldnt be too worried about the latest charge, rather she should now make every effort to get back her job with the Eastern Railways. Pramanik has a strong case and if she moves properly with valid documents she will succeed, said Roy.
