Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in an interview to ETV News Bangla said, “Acche din nehi, ronek a din aa gaya.”(the days of tears have come). she said this when asked about the first 100 days of Modi government in office. she further added, “the BJP government has committed no less than 100 mistakes in 100 days. They have sold the country in 100 days.”

On Saradha financial scam she said that her patience is being tried by the BJP government and the media. “None from my party took money from Saradha. Congress-CPM-BJP helped this chit fund companies to grow during their regime. The TMC government took action against the company and is now being targeted. “The moment the scam came to our notice, we took action and arrested the kingpin.”

On BJP president Amit Shah’s statement on Saradha that 17 lakh people were cheated during an election rally in Kolkata on September 7, she said, “I have all evidence against the person who spoke here against me.

The people of Gujarat handed several pen drives to me which had all evidence against these leaders. they themselves are accused in several cases and how dare point finger at me ?” The Trinamool Congress is the most transparent party in the country. There can be some rotten staff within but the moment they are identified action is taken against them.
