Bengal: Kudmis vandalise Dilip Ghosh’s house
They allegedly broke window panes and doors of the house. Ghosh was, however, not present at his residence during the attack as he was in Delhi. Police later reached the spot and removed the protesters from the area.
BJP national vice-president Dilip Ghosh A group of people belonging to a Kudmi outfit allegedly vandalised the residence of BJP national vice-president Dilip Ghosh at Kharagpur in Paschim Medinipur district on Wednesday and demanding an apology for reportedly “insulting” the community.
According to reports, members of the Adivasi Kurmi Samaj Purulia Zilla Committee reached Ghosh’s rented accommodation holding flags and posters in Kharagpur. They allegedly broke window panes and doors of the house. Ghosh was, however, not present at his residence during the attack as he was in Delhi. Police later reached the spot and removed the protesters from the area.

Speaking to reporters in the national capital, Ghosh alleged that TMC workers were behind the attack.
