Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday admonished the BJP and Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari for alleging that she has links with terror groups of Bangladesh and Jammu & Kashmir, and challenged them to bring proof.

Speaking in the Assembly, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief called the BJP’s charge “baseless”, and said: “I am accused of being a member of the Muslim League. I condemn such remarks… If they (BJP) can prove that I have connections with terrorists of Bangladesh and Jammu and Kashmir, I will resign from the post of chief minister immediately. I will leave in a single day.”
