The Commission has already said that filling up an enumeration form in two different places will be considered a criminal offence.
The Chief Electoral Office (CEO) of West Bengal has expressed concern over the slow distribution of enumeration forms (ER forms) in 40 Assembly constituencies. Despite a statewide average of 88.8% ER form distribution, these 40 constituencies have lagged behind with rates below 75%.
