Army helicopter makes forced landing in J&K, pilots dead

The deceased officers have been identified as Major Rohit Kumar and Major Anuj Rajput.

Two pilots died on Tuesday after an Army helicopter made a forced landing at Shiv Garh Dhar in Patnitop area, a famous tourist resort along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Udhampur district.

The deceased officers have been identified as Major Rohit Kumar and Major Anuj Rajput.

Police parties have rushed to the site, which is currently covered in thick fog. A statement from the Army earlier said the two pilots were rescued and shifted to a hospital.
