A TADA court in Jammu on Friday summoned Rubaiya Sayeed, daughter of former Union home minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, on July 15 for recording her statement in a case related to her abduction in 1989.

Kashmiri separatist leader and head of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik is an accused in the case. Significantly, TADA Court Presiding Officer Ashwani Kumar Sharma’s directions came days after a Delhi court had awarded life imprisonment to Malik in a terror funding case.
