A 25-year-old woman attempted suicide at the Janakpuri Metro station in West Delhi on Friday. The woman,identified as Poonam,lost her legs in the incident. Police said she is yet to regain consciousness.
Army officer shoots at wife,held
An Army officer was arrested on Friday afternoon for shooting at his wife in Rajiv Nagar in Gurgaon. S P Singh,DCP (West) said: “Kuldeep Singh (43),a subedar major posted in Rohtak,shot at his wife Rajbala (39) twice in the stomach.” Police said he wanted her to sign some documents and shot at her when she refused.
57-year-old held for molestation
