Two MLAs among six injured after speeding car crashes through divider, rams into SUV in Delhi

The incident occurred in front of the old Police Headquarters where the out-of-control car jumped the divider before colliding head-on with an SUV, news agency PTI reported.

The injured MLAs, Anil Jha from Kirari Vidhan Sabha in Delhi and Abhay Patil from Karnataka, were inside the SUV.

Visuals from the site of the incident show damage to the front section of the SUV involved in the collision. Police personnel and Delhi Fire Service truck were present at the site.

Delhi Police said the incident occurred the accident occurred around 9:30 PM near the PWD office when a Swift car, travelling from Laxmi Nagar towards ITO, hit the divider and crossed over to the opposite lane.
