The Delhi Police Special Cell arrested three drug peddlers who were allegedly part of an interstate gang. Police also recovered 3 kg of narcotics worth Rs 12 crore in the international market.
Police said those arrested have been identified as Chander Shekhar (32) and Dharam Raj (23) — both from Delhi — and Javed Khan from Uttarakhand. “Around 3.340 kg of fine quality heroin was recovered. The international value of the heroin is more than Rs 12 crore,” a senior police officer said.
Police said six mobile phones along with 9 SIM cards have also been recovered.
Police said Chander Shekhar used to sell heroin in Trilokpuri area. The drugs were supplied to him by Javed Khan through Shekhar’s carrier Dharam Raj.
