Metalheads of all alloys and rockers of all shapes and sizes,get ready. The partial line-up of four-city Bacardi NH7 Weekender is here. If last years festival held at Buddh International Circuit,Greater Noida,is anything to go by,then apart from the sparkling bubbly,the highs will come from the acts in Delhi,Mumbai,Pune and Kolkata. There will be a melange of metal,EDM and Indian indie acts. While multilingual world music legend Manu Chao will make his debut in Pune with his loping rhythms and political songwriting,Swedish math metal band Meshuggah will revisit India after their successful gigs in 2010 in Pune and Bangalore. There will be Dutch progressive metal band Textures and British metal giants TesserecT. Pretty Lights frontman Michal Menert,Pakistani Sufi artist Arooj Aftaab,electro rock musicians Benga and American rockers Mutemath will up the ante in the Capital. The line-up of the Indian artistes include Soulmate,Raghu Dixit Project,and 90s alternative rockers Zero holding the fort among others. The new acts include guitarist Dhruv Visvanath,folk fusion act Kailasa and Tajdar Junaid.
The festival in Delhi is on November 30 and December 1. The tickets are priced at Rs 3,750. For details,visit: nh7.in
