The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) on Friday sent a notice to the Gurgaon administration after the sports teacher of Meenakshi Public School in Sector-10 allegedly twisted the nose of a nine-year-old student when the latter defeated him in a game of chess. NCPCR member Vinod Kumar Tikko said: The commission has taken cognisance of the matter. It has asked for a reply within 15 days. Action will be taken depending on the report. Though the school dismissed the incident as a misunderstanding and that the matter had been sorted out,the childs uncle had alleged that the Class V boy bled profusely.
