“Utkarsh’s brother lodged a complaint against the club management on Sunday and we filed an FIR under sections of the Indian Penal Code. Investigation is underway,” a police officer said.

According to police, both the students were 22 years old and were studying in AKG Engineering College in Ghaziabad. On the evening of August 12, they had gone to the club with five others. Police officers said life jackets were present around the pool, but the boys could not be saved.
