Robbers who posed as cabbies busted

Poilce on Sunday arrested five men on the charges of robbing passengers waiting outside railway stations and bus-stops by posing as cab drivers.

Poilce on Sunday arrested five men on the charges of robbing passengers waiting outside railway stations and bus-stops by posing as cab drivers. Nafees,Parmod,Rahees,Anish and Rashid were arrested from Sunlight Colony.

“They used to target people waiting for buses and autorickshaws at night. Once they got their victim in their vehicle,they used to rob him at gunpoint and drop them at desolate places outside Delhi,” an officer said.

Police said they were looking for the gang following a complaint from a man whom they had robbed.
