Red Fort blast: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announces ex-gratia worth Rs 10 lakh for kin of deceased
The Delhi government also announced that the victims who have suffered temporary disability due to the blast will receive Rs 5 lakh, while the grievously injured will get Rs 2 lakh. Victims with minor injuries will get Rs 20,000.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh for each of the families of the deceased in the Red Fort blastthat claimed nine lives.
The Delhi government also announced that the victims who have suffered temporary disability due to the blast will receive Rs 5 lakh, while the grievously injured will get Rs 2 lakh. Victims with minor injuries will get Rs 20,000.

The CM asked officials to ensure that no victim suffers due to lack of care.
Gupta stated that the incident near the Red Fort is not only a deep shock for the affected families but also for the entire city.
She added that all Delhiites stand united in this moment of grief and assured that the government will ensure no family feels abandoned.

Gupta also instructed the concerned departments to expedite the relief distribution process and ensure that no eligible person faces any delay in receiving assistance.
Earlier on Tuesday, the CM said, “This is an unfortunate incident. All relevant agencies are working hard to investigate the matter. We have visited the hospitals to meet with the victims and their families. The government is providing full support and closely monitoring the situation to ensure that people receive the proper medical care.”
