Prithvi slams ton

Telefunken Club got four points for the win at Hari Nagar Sports Complex.

Prithvi Anand slammed twenty fours in his unbeaten innings of126 as Telefunken Club beat West Delhi Academy by 220 runs in the Shri Mahavir cricket tournament. Amongst the bowlers Prashant Sehrawat took 4/15 as Telefunken first put up a challenging 330 runs in forty overs before bowling out West Delhi Academy for 100 runs with 11 overs to spare. Telefunken Club got four points for the win at Hari Nagar Sports Complex.

Gaurav Kochar top scored with 155 while Deepak Khattri scored 89 to help Telefunken club beat Master Juggler Academy by 196 runs in the Swastik Cup Open cricket tournament at Ghevra ground. Chasing a mammoth target of 378 runs,Master Juggler Academy were restricted to just 181 runs with Ankush Tyagi (2/27) and Rakesh Kumar (2/28) returning the best figures.

Delhi under-16 player Jonty Sidhu scored an unbeaten knock of 107 runs while Aman Gurnani chipped in with a usefull contribution of 30 to helped Kishan Gunj Gymkhana best Madan Lal Academy by 8 wickets and enter semifinal of the Harichand Under-17 cricket tournament being played at Ramjas ground. Ajay Ahlawat (2/47),Sanjeev Kumar (2/33),Aman Gurnani (2/26) and Rahul Nishad (2/30) took two wickets apiece for the winners.
