Police arrest four,claim gang active in Noida,Western UP busted

With the arrest of four persons,the Crime Branch has claimed to have busted the Noida-based Amit Gujjar gang involved in the several sensational crimes like dacoity,car jacking,kidnapping and contract-killing in Noida and western Uttar Pradesh.

With the arrest of four persons,the Crime Branch has claimed to have busted the Noida-based Amit Gujjar gang involved in the several sensational crimes like dacoity,car jacking,kidnapping and contract-killing in Noida and western Uttar Pradesh.

According to the police,important cases including the abduction case of a young girl kidnapped at gunpoint from a market have been solved .

“Three teams of the Crime Branch were constituted to gather information about the gang,” Neeraj Thakur,Deputy Commissioner of Police,Crime,said.

On Sunday,the police received tip-off that Amit Gujjar,the kingpin of the gang,will come to Delhi with Anil Kumar,Ved Pal and Manoj Sharma to commit a crime in Jaitpur village,and a trap was laid. “When asked them to surrender,but they fired on us. But we were organised and overpowered them,” a police officer said. During the firing,four policemen and a gangster,Manoj,sustained injuries.

The police has recovered four country-made pistols and ammunition from the accused.
