Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met those injured in the Red Fort blast at the LNJP hospital in Delhi. Heavy security was deployed around the hospital during the Prime Minister’s visit. PM Modi went straight to the LNJP hospital to meet those injured after the blast after his arrival from Bhutan.
Sharing photos of him interacting with the injured and their families, PM Modi posted on X, “Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice!”
Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had visited the hospital and held meetings with officials to ensure treatment for all the injured.
A powerful explosion ripped through a slow-moving vehicle near the gate of the Lal Qila metro station on Monday evening, claiming 13 lives and injuring multiple others.
Hours after the blast, PM Modi had posted on X, “Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in the blast in Delhi earlier this evening. May the injured recover at the earliest. Those affected are being assisted by authorities. Reviewed the situation with Home Minister Amit Shah Ji and other officials.”
During a public address in Bhutan on Tuesday, PM Modi said, “The horrific blast in Delhi last evening has deeply pained everyone. India stands with those who have suffered. I assure everyone that the agencies will get to the bottom of the entire conspiracy. All those involved will be brought to justice.”
