Passengers had to once again bear the brunt of VIP movement at the Indira Gandhi Airport with several flights to Delhi getting delayed and diverted on Saturday, news agency ANI reported.
As many as 13 flights were diverted due to VIP movements from 5.30 pm to 6.15 pm, Delhi airport officials said.
According to reports, high frequency of VIP charter planes landing at Delhi airport was the main cause behind the delay in flights.
One of the busiest airport in India, IGI sees around 1,100 flight movements every day.
