Now, fire breaks out in Chandni Chowk

Nearly four to five shops caught fire and the fire department are trying to contain it from spreading to other shops

Fire broke out in Kinari Bazaar at 2.30 pm on Monday in the narrow bylanes of Chandni Chowk. 25 fire tenders were dispatched to put out the blaze.

Nearly four to five shops caught fire and the fire department are trying to contain it from spreading to other shops. Nobody is killed or injured in the accident. According to the fire department, a transformer could be have started the fire.

Fire fighters said access to the shops is difficult due to the narrow lanes in Chandni Chowk.

Earlier this morning, a fire broke out at an NIIT centre in Connaught Place. No casualties were reported.
