North corporation demolishes illegal portions of 62 properties, seals 10

The North Municipal Corporation demolished illegal portions of 62 properties and sealed 10 properties in Civil Lines, Karol Bagh, Sadar Paharganj and Rohini.

“Many houses had ongoing constructions, despite not having clearance for it,” an official said. An international automobile showroom and a unit of a popular eating chain were also sealed. Meanwhile residents cried foul, stating they had not received any official communication of the demolition.
