Rejecting the bail application of a man accused of sexually exploiting a girl by promising marriage and allegedly threatening her after making a video of the sexual activity,a Delhi court has held that “no indulgence” can be given to a person who exploits women.

The court of Additional Sessions Judge Kamini Lau dismissed the bail application filed by the man, noting that the case of rape and harassment was registered after the college student attempted to commit suicide by ingesting pesticide to escape harassment by him.

The court said: “She has not identified the accused as the person who had repeatedly made sexual relations with her.”
