The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) to submit a “comprehensive and definite plan” as to how traffic in the crowded Chandni Chowk market can be permitted to carry on without interfering with commercial activity.

The bench asked CAIT to formulate a plan, on the plea of the trader’s body seeking modification of the NGT’s March 16 order which had banned loading and unloading of goods between 11 am and 8 pm.
