Mishap at Metro site,man dead
A 25-year-old labourer died at a Delhi Metro construction site in Paschim Vihar after falling off a crane on Sunday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Guddu,declared dead on arrival at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. He was from Orissa,the police said. The site where the accident took place is part of the Inderlok-Mundka Metro corridor.

Goods robbed from Delhi Metro office
Unknown assailants struck at an office of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and made off with electric goods worth lakhs. Police said the accused threatened security guards manning the office in Sarita Vihar,Southeast Delhi,with “sharp-edged weapons.” According to a complaint by executive engineer Shailender Kumar,the robbers came in a tempo and made off with 22-KV tower material on Thursday evening at the DMRC office in N-Block.
