Delhi Metro stations are set to get a cleaner as the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced a string of measures to ensure and retain world class cleanliness standards.
DMRC on Sunday said it had decided to improve the cleanliness of the stations as part of its mission to provide a clean and efficient Mass Transit System for the residents of Delhi and NCR. The Delhi Metro will re-work its cleaning and housekeeping practices by using advanced and hi-tech machines and will conduct specialised training programme for its staff.
New equipment and machines have been introduced to keep the system clean round the clock.
