The Aam Aadmi Party swept the capital state by breaking the 60-seats ceiling. Arvind Kejriwal won the New Delhi seat by 31,000 votes over BJP’s Nupur Sharma. He set to take oath as chief minister of Delhi for the second time on February 14th.
Previously, all the exit polls have given AAP a decisive edge over BJP with one of them giving it as high as 53 seats in the 70-member House. But no agency came close to guessing the 67 number the party won. With BJP just winning three seats, they fell very short of their estimate of 34-38 seats.
