Policemen outside the family’s home in Lajpat Nagar on Thursday (Express/Tashi Tobgyal) Two days after a garment shop staffer allegedly killed his employer and her 14-year-old son at their Lajpat Nagar residence, enraged over being reprimanded on Tuesday morning for skipping work, police on Friday said the accused, Mukesh Paswan, did not go through the police verification process when he started his job.
“None of the four employees working at the victim’s shop had undergone police verification when they were hired,” DCP (Southeast) Hemant Tiwari said.

Mukesh worked as a driver and a helper at the shop in Lajpat Nagar market.
