The Delhi traffic police have issued an advisory for Kisan Mahapanchayat organised by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) at Ramlila Maidan Monday. According to the police, more than 25,000 farmers from different states were coming to Delhi to participate in the mahapanchayat.
In its advisory, the traffic police said traffic movement would be stopped or restricted on these roads:

2. From Minto Road to Kamla Market ,Vivekanand Marg.
3. JLN Marg ( Delhi gate to Guru Nanak Chowk)
4. Kamla Market to Guru Nanak Chowk.
5. Chaman Lal Marg.
6. Ajmeri Gate towards Asaf Ali Road
7. Pahargaj Chowk and Jandewalan, Desh Bandhu Gupta Road to Ajmeri Gate.
The traffic police have created diversions at these points:

6. Bhavbhuti Marg
7. Chaman Lal Marg
8. Paharganj Chowk
The police said the restrictions would be placed from 9 am Monday as most farmers were expected to reach Delhi by Sunday night or Monday morning.
The police said commuters must avoid the restricted points or stretches as thousands of farmers would march on the streets. Also, commuters going to New Delhi railway station, Old Delhi railway station, Nizamuddin railway station and inter-state bus terminals should leave with “sufficient time” at hand. Parking is only allowed at designated parking lots, the police added.
An officer said, “In case any unusual/unidentified object or person is noticed in suspicious circumstances, information should be given to the police.”
The SKM leadership demands the dismissal of the Centre’s current minimum support price (MSP) committee and forming a new panel with farmer representatives. It also calls for the withdrawal of the Electricity Amendment Bill, 2022.
