Minor killed in Jewar road accident along with two others

The driver of the truck that caused the accident has been taken into custody.

The deceased were identified as Mohini (17), Arti (25) and Dharmendra (36).

Three people, including a minor, were killed in an accident in Greater Noida Friday after a truck collided with an e-rickshaw.

Police said that the incident took place around 5pm on Jewar-Khurja road in the Jewar Police station area.

The deceased were identified as Mohini (17), Arti (25) and Dharmendra (36). “Arti and Mohini are from one family. A minor girl was also injured in the case. They were going on the e-rickshaw when the truck hit them on the Jewar-Khurja road,” a police official said.

He added that the truck was recovered and the driver taken into custody. “An FIR under IPC section 304-A (Causing death by negligence) has been registered and further legal action is being taken,” the official said.
