Insider’s role suspected in GK-I murder,say police

A day after a 65-year-old woman was found dead in her Greater Kailash house in South Delhi,police said they are investigating the case from several angles.

A day after a 65-year-old woman was found dead in her Greater Kailash house in South Delhi,police said they are investigating the case from several angles. Police said they suspect an insider’s role in the murder because the entry into the house seemed friendly.

Addl CP (Southeast) Ajay Chawdhry said: “Investigations are on,we are questioning all the workers in the area,including the driver and the maid. As the entry seemed friendly,the accused was known to the family. We are making a list of all those who used to visit the house.”

Sources said the house belonged to victim’s brother-in-law,Shamsher Singh.

“The maid was present in the house till 2.30 in the afternoon. The family wants the post-mortem examination to be conducted after her chidren’s return from abroad. The autopsy is likely to be conducted on Monday,” sources said.

Jogesh was found dead in her R-78 house on Friday.
