Enrique Iglesias has a new Indian fan — singer Sunidhi Chauhan who cannot stop gushing about collaborating with the Spanish pop musician in a song for his forthcoming album. Called Heartbeat, the song will be a part of Iglesias’ album Harmony,to be launched on Match 16. “This is the first time that an Indian singer has collaborated with Enrique. The song Heartbeat includes Hindi lines, folk tunes and several other Indian musical elements. There are also a few lines in English that I have sung with him,” says Chauhan, whose songs Sheila ki Jawani and Beedi have made her one of Bollywood’s best known voices.

“I had heard Enrique’s music earlier,so the moment Universal music offered this opportunity,I grabbed it,” says Chauhan, who is also thrilled about the four-minute video that she is part of. However, she has one grouse. “We did not get to talk. We might promote the song together, though I am not sure about that,” she says.
