It was the nature of his job that pushed the 35-year-old medical counsellor into depression and subsequently towards suicide,police officer said on Sunday while quote from the six-page suicide note reportedly left behind by Rahul Kumar Sahni.
Sahni worked with Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences and his body was found by his family in their Sector Alpha One home in Greater Noida,around 9 pm on Saturday. Police said Sahni was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room,with the suicide note stating that he was depressed with the nature of his life and work.
The family had gone out and Sahni chose to stay back at home saying he was not feeling too well. When they returned after 9 pm,they found him hanging from the fan in his room. He was rushed to a nearby hospital,but was declared dead on arrival, a senior police officer said.
His suicide note blamed his role at the hospital,police said.
His job description was to counsel mentally challenged persons and he had been doing this for several years. He said because of this he had been steadily entering into depression. In the note,he wrote that he had become an alco
