Hard Kaur debuts as music director

Hard Kaur,who crooned popular party numbers such as Ek Glassy,Move your body and Char baj gaye lekin party abhi baki hai,has now turned composer.

Hard Kaur,who crooned popular party numbers such as Ek Glassy,Move your body and Char baj gaye lekin party abhi baki hai,has now turned composer. The rapper who had already composed the music for her hit album PLAY,will now be composing for films. She makes her debut as a music director in Atul Agnihotri’s next. She has composed the music of her song,which is a combination of Haryanvi and English. Excited about the song,she says,“Yes,I have sung many songs in films,but this will be the first time that I will also be giving music to a film song. I am very happy about it. Now that I have also started composing music,I can give a chance to new singers,which I could not earlier.” Apart from this project,Hard Kaur who has worked with several international artistes,nurtures a desire to work with American rapper Kanye West.

Arjun Kapoor on a Roll

Arjun Kapoor is bagging successive film projects these days. After Aurangzeb,there is also YRF’s Gunday,where he along with Ranveer Singh,plays a small time thief who gets involved with the coal mafia.

He is also likely to be doing Cocktail director Homi Adajania’s next. Interestingly,this is not a Hindi film,but like Adajania’s earlier film,Being Cyrus,this film will be in English. It is based in Goa and is slated to take off at the end of the year. When contacted,Adajania confirmed that he is working on an English film. He,however did not revert back when asked whether Arjun was the hero of the film.

Kapoor is also working on Dharma Productions 2 States. Also in the offing is his uncle Sanjay Kapoor’s remake of the South film,Okkadu.
