A glitch on the overhead electric lines on the Dwarka Metro corridor held up a large number of commuters on Friday morning.
The snag developed at Janakpuri on the Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida/Vaishali corridor at 9.15 am causing sluggish movement of trains on the corridor.
Being the busiest corridor of the entire Metro network,the slowdown led to bunching of trains,holding up a large number of commuters.
The morning rush hour crowd had to face long delays with the problem finally being rectified at 10.45 am.
As a result,the already congested Rajiv Chowk station was choked leading to overcrowding on platforms.
