To provide information about the four-year undergraduate programme,Delhi University,on Saturday,announced a two-week-long schedule for Open Days.
The University of Delhi is set to introduce the new four-year undergraduate programme from July 2013. In this context,the university has been organising Open Days for aspiring students and their parents to provide them comprehensive details of the admission process through interactive sessions, Dean of Students Welfare J M Khurana said.
According to the new schedule,the orientation sessions are being organised in both North and South Campuses. These interactive sessions will be held from May 20-22 and May 27-30 at the Conference Centre in North Campus while South Campus will hold sessions on May 23 and 24.
Started last week,these orientation programmes saw aspiring DU students thronging the venue. Three sessions were conducted by the DU administration on two Open Days. The university has also been going to schools to interact with Class XII students regarding the four-year programme and the admission process in DU this year.
Admissions to the various new four-year undergraduate courses for the academic year beginning July 2013 is expected to commence from the first week of June. Registration will begin from June 5. Students will be required to fill a common pre-admission form (OMR) that will be available online as well as over the counter.
