A storekeeper allegedly running a fake jobs racket at the Indira Gandhi International Airport was apprehended by the CISF personnel on Saturday.
According to a senior CISF official,the youths Pawan and Dinesh Rana approached CISF personnel at the arrival terminal and told them that they were looking for a person who had allegedly taken Rs 1 lakh promising them jobs with Indigo Airlines.
The CISF staff took them to the CCTV room and asked them to identify the person who has offered them the jobs. They spotted the man in one of the footage and we apprehended him, the official said.
The accused,identified as Saurabh Kumar,works as a storekeeper at a franchise at the airport,the official said. He was handed over to the Delhi Police for further probe.
Following his questioning,three others have been identified who are supposedly running a fake jobs racket from the IGI airport, the official said. The CISF also recovered a number of fake appointment letters of various airlines from Kumar.
