DU’s open school offers hope to those in 50-80 per cent bracket

Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) has become a big draw for students who have scored between 50 and 80 per cent in their Class XI.

Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) has become a big draw for students who have scored between 50 and 80 per cent in their Class XI.

More than a lakh prospectus copies have been sold. “Over 10,000 students have already taken admission in our under-graduate courses. The number will go up in the coming days after the colleges close their admission process. We expect about 1.3 lakh students to enroll here,” said H C Pokhriyal,Executive Director of SOL.

The admission process for under-graduate courses would continue till September 14,he said.

SOL offers five under-graduate courses — BA (Hons) in English,BCom (Hons),BA (Hons) Political Science,BA Programme and BCom.
